It brings all the benefits of our original, standalone, Wheely-Safe Driver system, whilst adding cloud connectivity and a raft of sensor upgrades which extend transmission range and performance.

Because it’s connected to the cloud, this means sensor alerts can be reported in real-time to the management, engineering or fleet team back at base, in addition to the driver – for additional peace of mind. This makes it perfect for businesses which want direct access to tyre and wheel sensor data, rather than being reliant on the driver to act upon alerts.

The full Wheely-Safe Connect package provides alerts for:

In-motion wheel loss detection* – notifying you at the first sign of a wheel nut starting to loosen.
Wheel rim temperature monitoring* – alerting you should temperatures exceed 100°C, which could indicate brake binding or hub failure, a major cause of commercial vehicle fires.
High tyre temperatures alerts – advising if the air inside a tyre exceeds 100°C, often the first sign of an impending tyre blow-out.
Changes in tyre pressures – giving alerts for both gradual tyre underinflation, and rapid pressure loss.
- A cautionary ‘flashing amber’ notification when pressures are between 20% and 40% below the calibrated level.
- Critical ‘red’ alerts follow when a tyre’s pressure drops by more than 40%.

*Wheel loss detection and wheel rim temperature monitoring is primarily for commercial vehicles, available to fit 99% of wheel sizes from 17.5” to 22.5”. For other sizes, Wheely-Safe Connect operates as an intelligent TPMS, covering inflation pressures and internal air temperatures.
